The Observatory has the biggest telescope in Tuscany and it’s also used for meteorological, astronomical and geo-environment observations.
The Observatory is mainly dedicated to learning and educational activities to primary and secondary schools as well as to groups of amateurs, enthusiasts and interested citizens and tourists to environmental matters and, in particular to the knowledge of the sky.
