The particularity of this sky observation centre is that is located within an historic building, that is the Tower Luciana ; a tower of Lombard origin and dating from the ninth century, located in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa known as Luciana di Mercatale. Today the Tower Luciana is instead used, as we said, as an Astronomical Observatory where you can have an opportunity to observe the sky from a marvellous place.
